CHRISTMAS 2007!

We had such a great Christmas with both of our families! Shane and I bought our first REAL CHRISTMAS TREE! It was such an exciting moment for me because I was raised with fake trees all of my life so Shane was great about helping me pick out the biggest tree on the lot and then spending hours to decorate it! I absolutely love how it turned out!














My Mom was amazing and broke her normal traditions and had us over for Christmas Eve. We had such a fun evening together. We played games, unwrapped presents and had an amazing night spending time together! On Christmas morning we came back over to Mom's for our "Santa Presents" and breakfast and then left for the Shafers'!

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!

Saturday was my birthday and I feel like the luckiest girl in the world to have the friends and family that I have in my life. The excitement began on Thursday night with dinner at Mosun with the girls then finished Sunday night with dinner with my family! Shane planned an amazing day for us on Saturday that started with breakfast, next a spa day and ended with a gondola ride and dinner in Newport.

Brett and Carly's Wedding

The big day has finally arrived! Shane and I went to Brett and Carly's wedding on Sunday at the Laguna Cliffs Marriot in Dana Point. It was an absolutely beautiful wedding and Carly was stunning! All of the hard work was well worth it and we had such a great time.

Brett and Carly, Thanks again for everything and I hope you are having fun in SPAIN and ITALY! We can't wait to see your new home when you get back!

For Shane's birthday we had a few friends over at the house and began the weekend celebration. I have never seen Shane so excited to celebrate his birthday! Thank you everyone for all that you did! On Sunday, we finished off the weekend with an amazing brunch with his parents at the Back Bay Cafe!

I thought I would post a few pictures of the place that we will be getting married at on JULY 11th!!! We are SO EXCITED and can't wait to get started on the planning. It is a beautiful estate in Silverado Canyon that actually has its own zoo on site! Just an added bonus for the kids and Shane! He can't wait to take pictures with the tigers and lions! JULY 11th IS THE DATE!!!

Shane and I are so excited that we finally found the perfect place to get married! We are getting married at Rancho Las Lomas on July 11th, 2008! It is an amazing venue and the perfect place for us to say our "I Do's" .... I am so excited to get married!!!!! I hope I can wait until July!!

JON AND ANNE GOT HITCHED

We just got back from having the best time ever at Jon and Anne's wedding in the Caribbean! They are such an amazing couple and we loved sharing in their special day. Not to mention it was a 7 day party. The ceremony was sweet, the bride was stunning and it was all together a good time. It was also great to catch up with family we haven't seen in years! Miss you all!

We're ENGAGED!

On June 13th, Shane surprised me and proposed during the best "Date Night" he has ever planned. He took me to our favorite spot on the beach and then surprised me with a bottled barried in the sand with an amazing poem. His weeks of planning paid off and I of course said YES! We started the evening at the beach and then went to my parents house to celebrate.
