Merry Christmas!!!

This year Christmas was peaceful! We spent Christmas Eve with my family in Irvine and then went up to visit the Shafer's in Valencia on Christmas day! We feel so blessed to be surrounded by such great families! We had a great time eating too much food, playing games, and spending quality time with each family. When we woke up on Christmas morning we quickly realized that it would be our last Christmas with complete silence. We were also reminded by our parents that it was our last year that Santa would visit us and next year the focus would switch to the baby :( Ha! And yes Santa still comes to visit us every year! Merry Christmas everyone!

It's First Picture

We already love it!! Shane thinks its the best looking baby he has ever seen. We were able to have another ultrasound at our appointment today. It was moving all around and we were able to watch her for a while. She even got the hiccups during the visit. We are so excited to finally tell people about our new addition this summer!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

This year more than ever we have so much to be thankful for. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world to have such an amazing family, a supportive and incredible husband and all of the friends that have been with me through it all. I am so thankful to be carrying our first baby and to have had a wonderful first 2 months! I can't believe he/she will be here in 8 months!!!

Update - One year later

It is now October 2009!!! We are excited to get back into our blog and keep you all posted on our upcoming events. The past year has been filled with such amazing memories that we will never forget. Our ONE YEAR anniversary was spent at Maestros in Newport Beach. We had an incredible dinner and evening out. The following Monday we left for Cabo San Lucas to continue the celebration. We had such an incredible time and so grateful to my parents for the trip.

The rest of the summer was filled with some wedding fun! Christy, Sam and Siarra were all married in the past few months. All had incredible weddings that Shane and I were honored to be a part of.

Now as the fall approaches we are excited about the next journey of our lives... Stay tuned!!!
