Update - One year later

It is now October 2009!!! We are excited to get back into our blog and keep you all posted on our upcoming events. The past year has been filled with such amazing memories that we will never forget. Our ONE YEAR anniversary was spent at Maestros in Newport Beach. We had an incredible dinner and evening out. The following Monday we left for Cabo San Lucas to continue the celebration. We had such an incredible time and so grateful to my parents for the trip.

The rest of the summer was filled with some wedding fun! Christy, Sam and Siarra were all married in the past few months. All had incredible weddings that Shane and I were honored to be a part of.

Now as the fall approaches we are excited about the next journey of our lives... Stay tuned!!!

WE ARE MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't even begin to say thank you to anyone that had a part in our wedding. It was more than we ever dreamed of and we still can't stop smiling. Our journey has been filled with a lot of adventure and I would do it all over again in a heartbeat to be able to spend the rest of my life with my best friend.

We thank each of you for sharing in our special day and being a part of it! We love you all!

The countdown is on!

We are so excited! 6 WEEKS AND COUNTING! We finally took our engagement pictures! We had such a good time in Laguna Beach with our wedding photographer.

Cake Testing for the BIG DAY!

On Saturday, Shane and I decided to bring along a few cake experts to do the testing for us. We had a great time with Dad, Mom and Grams and then went off to try the food for the BIG DAY!

CHRISTMAS 2007!

We had such a great Christmas with both of our families! Shane and I bought our first REAL CHRISTMAS TREE! It was such an exciting moment for me because I was raised with fake trees all of my life so Shane was great about helping me pick out the biggest tree on the lot and then spending hours to decorate it! I absolutely love how it turned out!














My Mom was amazing and broke her normal traditions and had us over for Christmas Eve. We had such a fun evening together. We played games, unwrapped presents and had an amazing night spending time together! On Christmas morning we came back over to Mom's for our "Santa Presents" and breakfast and then left for the Shafers'!

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!

Saturday was my birthday and I feel like the luckiest girl in the world to have the friends and family that I have in my life. The excitement began on Thursday night with dinner at Mosun with the girls then finished Sunday night with dinner with my family! Shane planned an amazing day for us on Saturday that started with breakfast, next a spa day and ended with a gondola ride and dinner in Newport.
